Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Table is very solid, nice looking and was easy to put together. There is a slight bit of damage on the top but barely noticeable and not worth the trouble of sending it back. This is a really cute table especially if you are tight on space. We got this because we rarely would use the "dining" area of our house and have a small kitchen nook table for our primary use. We got this table to be able to seat more than just my husband and I. I love that it comes assembled. It seems to be pretty solid. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that getting all 4 chairs to store inside is nearly impossible. Three chairs fit very comfortably getting the 4th in takes 2 specialized degrees in physics, engineering and a sophisticated grasp of tetris. I felt like once we got the 4th chair in that A) we wouldn't be able to recreate the event and B) it's gonna scratch the heck out of the chairs. So we decided to store 3 chairs inside the unit and tucked one away in the linen closet. All in all a super cute table with chairs that could have used like a 1/2in more width to store the chairs..
