Beautiful high quality piece of furniture. The TV stand is hard wood (not MDF), very sturdy, and a lovely walnut color (as pictured online). Fits in perfectly with our decor. However, there was a major problem with the right side panel. The drill holes and recesses for the hinges were off by at least an inch. Thanks to my husband’s expert carpentry skills, he was able to create a workable solution. Otherwise, it would have required disassembling and waiting for a replacement side panel. This defect caused much frustration and interior “hacking” of an otherwise beautiful piece of furniture. Not happy with this major oversight on the part of the manufacturer. We got this on sale and it makes me wonder if Wayfair reserves defective furniture like this for their sale items, since most reviewers don’t mention defective pieces.. Carla E. Maryland. The nightstand itself is great. Feels sturdy, minimalist mid-century design is just as pictured, and I think it’s a great value for the quality. The issue I had is more of a user error - the color is super reddish. And it was much lighter in person than in photos. For reference I chose the Caramel color.
