Simple to assemble. Lots of big pieces. Took less than an hour with me and 2 children. They handed me screws and held boards in place. Seems like good quality and has a metal roof. Two things I didn’t like was no ramp inside the coop and no perch’s for sleeping at night. I can rig something up but that defeats the purpose of buying pre fabricated. A few weeks later the hardware is staring to come loose on the doors and I’ve needed to replace the locking mechanisms. This pen worked out great for my 6 girls. I did not have enough room in my coop for them to forage so I attached this to my coop. It has two removeable back panels that I was able to use to connect the pen to my coop. I did use a water treatment on it as that will lengthen the life of it. The coop is quite large, but a pretty simple build. Simple enough that I was able to do as a project with my little ones. Didn’t find any problems with the instructions - all were written pretty clearly and simply. No mistakes and nothing left out. We were worried about the coop in the Louisiana weather, but the PVC roof is large enough and pitched correctly to keep water off the sides and out of the coop. Great product! The packages arrived quickly and in good condition. The components are heavyweight and seem to be of good quality. I have given it four stars based on the quality of the components. I am currently dealing with some issues with my back and I am unable to assemble it at this time I will update this review once I have gotten it put together 52026 UPDATE I finally hired a contractor to put the coop together and at first it seemed a bit flimsy just at the joints but once the wire was completely attached and the shades put on it is nice and sturdy.
