Simple to assemble. Lots of big pieces. Took less than an hour with me and 2 children. They handed me screws and held boards in place. Seems like good quality and has a metal roof. Two things I didn’t like was no ramp inside the coop and no perch’s for sleeping at night. I can rig something up but that defeats the purpose of buying pre fabricated. A few weeks later the hardware is staring to come loose on the doors and I’ve needed to replace the locking mechanisms. This pen worked out great for my 6 girls. I did not have enough room in my coop for them to forage so I attached this to my coop. It has two removeable back panels that I was able to use to connect the pen to my coop. I did use a water treatment on it as that will lengthen the life of it. I have the Zylina Big Green Coop. For my flock of 12 birds, this is a good size coop. There are plenty of nesting boxes and access to clean the coop is easy since there is a good amount of room. The coop is quite large, but a pretty simple build. Simple enough that I was able to do as a project with my little ones. Didn’t find any problems with the instructions - all were written pretty clearly and simply. No mistakes and nothing left out. We were worried about the coop in the Louisiana weather, but the PVC roof is large enough and pitched correctly to keep water off the sides and out of the coop. Great product! Building it wasn't hard at all. Two down sides. It had a strong chemical smell but I left it out for a few days and it's gone. Also, a couple of places a screw cracked the wood.
