We were looking for a safe way to let our indoor cats be with us outside (because lets face it, all cats want to go outside) without them running around the neighborhood, getting lost, or hurting themselves. Welp, this was the answer! Right away, our cats had different reactions. One seemed to be content and immediately took to it. The other seemed to feel threatened initially, like she was being put in a big cage (instead of being allowed safely outside as a treat). But, after we let the second cat stay in it by herself for awhile while we worked outside in the garden, she grew more and more content and actually started to thoroughly enjoy her time in the habitat, not wanting to go back in the house. :) We are planning to put in some cat beds and a water dish and a kitty litter on the bottom. Simple to assemble. Lots of big pieces. Took less than an hour with me and 2 children. They handed me screws and held boards in place. Seems like good quality and has a metal roof. Two things I didn’t like was no ramp inside the coop and no perch’s for sleeping at night. I can rig something up but that defeats the purpose of buying pre fabricated. A few weeks later the hardware is staring to come loose on the doors and I’ve needed to replace the locking mechanisms. The coop is quite large, but a pretty simple build. Simple enough that I was able to do as a project with my little ones. Didn’t find any problems with the instructions - all were written pretty clearly and simply. No mistakes and nothing left out. We were worried about the coop in the Louisiana weather, but the PVC roof is large enough and pitched correctly to keep water off the sides and out of the coop. Great product! The wood looks great but I’m wondering if I will have to apply a protective coat over it for extra precaution. I am currently finishing up our paver foundation so haven’t quite got it up yet but it will be completed this weekend and my experience will be updated to reflect the final outcome. Really impressed with this greenhouse! Took the two of us about 4.5 hours to assemble, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Quality genuinely exceeded our expectations — the frame feels sturdy and the cover is well made. The 10x44 size gives tons of growing space, and the roller shutter side door is a nice touch.
