I can only review this on look and packaging at this time because I haven't been able to install it yet. But it came nicely packaged and it looks like it has everything I need to install it. I got it because I have a smaller shower and it was the only one I could find that would fit. Which from the look of it, it will. It is a really nice, sturdy door, and it pivots instead of slides. All good except for where the door has to swing out to open, which requires it to be above the track to clear for opening outward, this leaves a big gap from bottom of shower door down to the track and when showering, this allows the water that hits the track to splatter so bad that it wets the floor outside the shower terribly. It needs to come with either an attachable or something from the factory that attaches to the bottom of the door that is flexible plastic/rubber and does not allow the water to splatter out but still allows the door to open and close.. Don’t purchase!!! I had this delivered on 8/27/2023, I had it installed on the same day. 2 weeks later it does not work. The lights don’t turn on and the hood blower does not turn on. I would not expect this from. $2k item. I called wayfair, they say to call zephyr. I called Zephyr, it took a whole week to get someone on the phone. You have the longest hold times. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him. Meh. It’s ok I guess. Pretty flimsy in comparison to the Miele that I’m replacing. I had very specific measurements for the chimney size, exhaust venting and style that would work so I guess beggars can’t be choosers but it’s not really what I would consider to be high end or even mid quality. Just cheaply made in my opinion. It’s held on with 2 x 1.25” 6 wood screws and my wife can lift it up by herself. The Miele we took down was a beast and solid like a piece of granite. This thing I can bend with my bare hands. Also the packaging is pretty lame. When it arrived the styrofoam was broken and there was a big dent on the back I had to hammer out (won’t ever see it). Nice shower door I suppose. I’ve never installed a frameless one before. I did so as you can see from the picture. So far so good. 3/8” glass door feels substantial and it is indeed heavy. Having said that, I would strongly suggest the hinge side be mounted into wall stud. Dreamline provides the anchors and screws. But again, the U channel holds the hinge panel, and the top bracket actually handles the load. Fortunately for me on the rebuilding of the shower I triple studded that wall in preparation for a shower door. 4 stars because the directions are atrocious. They send you manuals for every door in several languages. It’s up to the home owner or installer to pick through the sections that apply. I think that’s cheap and ridiculous. Dreamline should also consider making model specific instructional videos for the buyers (put them online!) That would be extremely helpful. Lastly, the Allen wrenches supplied are quite feeble and cheap. I also recommend having your own hex tools available especially if you need to adjust the over-pivot screws in the hinge. Not so loud you can’t talk when it’s on high. Moves a hell of a lot of air and the lights are something like 4000k bright white and make up for the shadow this big boy creates. You can also point the lights which is a nice touch. Just know this unit DORS NOT have a remote blower like z-line’s website says but is vague about. I was real disappointed but in too much of a hurry to return it. That said it’s not terrible in noise level.
