The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. Stainless Steel

This 30 in. wall-mounted range hood is constructed of premium 430 stainless steel. Complete with aluminum mesh filters that remove smoke and grease from your cooking area and are dishwasher safe. This model also comes with 2 bright energy saver LED lights, low noise level operation, 400 CFM airflow, push-button, and 3-level fan speed. All the components such as damper, mounting hardware, flexible ductwork, and damper are included for easy installation. The adjustable and telescoping chimney can fit a 7.5-8.5 Ft. ceiling. This unit is convertible, can be vented out of your dwelling, or recirculated (ductless) with charcoal filters (sold separately, part # WRHF005S2).

Maximize the air and sound performance of your Broan ventilation fan or range hood using one of our wide variety of ducting accessories. The overall size showing on the surface is 9" square with a 5-1/2" hood and a 1-1/4" long attachment collar for 6" round ductwork ( not for use with dryer venting ). Equipped with a spring-loaded backdraft damper and bird screen to keep nests and small animals on the outside. The wall cap is made of 22 gauge crack steel construction with a black electrically-bonded epoxy finish for durability and long life. Sold as 1 to a carton.

This was the only vent cap that I could find with 6" round ducting, for use with my Air Exchanger input. Although it worked, with some difficulty and modification, I wish it were made of plastic instead of heavy duty aluminum.
