The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. Love the whirlpool. Didn’t think the light in the tub was important but I do enjoy it. Just read the spec sheet before you buy, it needs two gfi to run the light and whirlpool motor. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. My only two critiques: (1) It took me 4-hours to assemble, mainly due to all the wrapped-up individual parts, perhaps they could do some amount of assembly at the factory?
