This product has been a nightmare. Missing parts, mangled parts, the manufacturer has been slow to respond or hasn't responded at all. I will never buy anything from this manufacturer again ever! The photo attached is of only some of the many mangled, twisted parts. After contacting and not receiving the parts, I was able to go to an auto body shop that was able to straighten the parts out where they were workable,. This morning we were putting the roof together only to find that the parts which were sent were the wrong ones, they are much smaller and simply don't fit. We are now waiting for the correct roof parts to arrive with no guarantee that this time they will send the correct ones. We have converted our garage into a “hang out” spot with a pool table and karaoke machine etc. We love hanging out in there. Unfortunately, it is not connected with our central heat/air system. We did have a smaller window a/c unit that was just ok, but this one is a game-changer! It has a/c AND heat! Year-round comfort! It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. We love it! The remote is handy and the timer feature is awesome. It is well-made and the as easy to install. We had to order a sleeve to slide it into, but it was very simple. The item was initially backordered and I was worried I would not receive it at all because when I ordered it the price was so low. However, it finally ship. When it arrived one of the boxes was damaged and one of the posts in that box had a dent in it. Another box had a hole in it and some of the screws needed must have fell out. I reached out to the vendor through Wayfair. At first, they wanted to give me a credit which would do me no good. It looks like it will be a couple of weeks to receive the parts. Will update the review if I can once I have it all put together. It is finally finished and looks great. It took awhile to get the damaged/missing parts but the vendor did come through. It is nice to be able to use the controls to open and close the roof. It would be nice to be able to do the same for the side screens. Sadly, you can only use the controls to open and close them..
