Easy to assemble- the pickets don’t click in as hard as they make it out, just kind of go in. Haven’t put it in the ground yet, so I’ll come back to update. Update Welp- set aside some time for this project! I strung out and sprayed a line first. To be fair, I have rocky soil, I had to use a hammer and piece of rebar to prime holes, then used some extra brackets to firmly tie it all together. When you’re pounding them in, don’t pound too hard, or they’ll deform. It’s a nice sturdy fence, keeps my cavalier in the yard and looks good, wears well. While less work (I think) than burying wood posts and wrapping and running a big store vinyl fence- it’s still work. Two man project, imo. Check your level on your gate too- or your latch won’t work. Im so excited to put this together and set up the garden. The packaging came in easy to move pieces. I’ll update the review with photos once it’s all set up. Update this was a lot of work to put together but definitely worth it. These surface mounts are what you need if you are installing your Zippity Outdoor products on a surface. Whether your fence or outdoor shower is going on a deck, a driveway, or another cement slab, these mounts make it safe and easy. These mounts take the guesswork out of installing on a surface. They are designed to mount the product (ZP19002), (ZP19041), (ZP19009), or (ZP19024) on a surface such as a patio or driveway. Each kit contains 2 surface mounts. Hardware not included. Will need to purchase either (8) 1/4" x 3" concrete wedge anchors for concrete or (8) 1/4" x 4" hex head bolts w/ nut and washer for wood.
