The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. Great quality, easy to install... my only complaint is that the flex hose they provided cannot be attached directly to the vent because there is a backflowdraft damper that is not able to open and close with the flex hose compressed... you need to definitely use at least 6 piece of straight metal ductwork first, then attach the flex hose.... but the product is very well made otherwise!. I was very disappointed in this product. I was expecting a WHITE and copper hood. There is NO white on it. You might think the chimney is white at first but that is just the protective plastic layer that peels off. It is stainless steel/silver and copper. The handle was the only place I was expecting stainless steel, but it is the trim piece and the chimney as well. I have white cabinets and was wanting a look like what the pictures show but that is NOT what you will get. It looks nothing like the pictures as all of them show white. Sleek and a eye catcher. Has great ventilation pull and has several levels of suction. My only complaints are...the fan is a bit loud and my front panel only lights up once you press on the light or vent fan icons. It's extremely hard to see the number on and light icon on the solid black touch panel. It should have a back light. Could be the installer missed connecting a wire for the back light. This hood is quiet, has four exhaust settings, a timer and two adjustable led lights. We needed it to vent out the wall and it was an easy job for our contractor. We have never purchased this brand but are impressed with the exhaust options and styles they offered. The price point was an incredible savings for us as it allowed for spending on other fixtures we really wanted to splurge on. We didn't overthink it and think it looks great in the space.. Carmen.
