Easy to assemble- the pickets don’t click in as hard as they make it out, just kind of go in. Haven’t put it in the ground yet, so I’ll come back to update. Update Welp- set aside some time for this project! I strung out and sprayed a line first. To be fair, I have rocky soil, I had to use a hammer and piece of rebar to prime holes, then used some extra brackets to firmly tie it all together. When you’re pounding them in, don’t pound too hard, or they’ll deform. It’s a nice sturdy fence, keeps my cavalier in the yard and looks good, wears well. While less work (I think) than burying wood posts and wrapping and running a big store vinyl fence- it’s still work. Two man project, imo. Check your level on your gate too- or your latch won’t work. Each Premium Wood Privacy Screen Kit comes unassembled with 2 panels. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for assembly of these two panels. This screen is made from our premium 100% FSC certified wood. For staining, painting, and screen upkeep, we suggest staining this product every 6 months to maintain optimal color. If you choose to paint the screen, please refer to our staining and painting guide. Our no-dig installation system makes installing this screen simple. There’s no digging or tearing up your yard with unnecessary holes. If you have harder ground, we recommend wetting the ground that you plan to insert the panels into and then use a mallet to insert the stakes into the ground.
