While the design is good. The quality of the produce is lacking. It was delivered in very good condition based on the size and weight of the package. I recommend assisting the delivery person in unloading the 3 boxes as they average about 90 pounds a peice. The installation instructions are lacking little details and the pictures in the instructions are not clear enough to provide you with the detail to put the boards in the correct order the first time. The instruction for every step is follow the illustration. I have attached step 6.1 and board 16 has holes on the edge in the middle of the board. Based on the picture included you need to figure out if they go toward the bottom or toward the top. The installation videos are not useful as they quickly zoom to the corner where annimation shows a screw and anchor being put into place and not the orientation of the board that would be helpful. Specific issues with our unit started with step 3 of the install process where the holes that were drilled into boards 7 and 8 were not deep enough so the bolt hit the wood and would not allow the boards to be joined snuggly together. After looking to see if another bolt included was a better fit, I drilled out the holes an 1/8th of an inch deeper which fixed the problem. Moving slowly through the steps I encountered a bigger issue at step 9 and 10. I had put together the bottom of the bed and was trying to mount the bed frame too it. The bolt holes in the bottom do not line up with the nut holes in the frame. I tried to reverse the boards as well as mount the boards individually to the bottom. They are misalligned by about 2 inches and there is no solution. At this point I have contacted Wayfair and they might send new boards that hopefully have holes that are alligned. If I get them and am able to move forward I will update my review. At this point it is a pile of boards and a half put together frame that is useless. Last notes, the directions have you build the wall mount with the lower part of the desk first. This takes up a lot of room and we had to work on the rest of the bed in another area and carry it in. If you have a small place I would start at step 8 then go back to step one when you hit step 11. They also didn't list the weight limit or heigth limit of the matress in the manual.
