I love the wall molding but was not easy or at least the way I installed was not easy so I gave it 4 stars. I glued them together first and then painted them the color of my wall. The next day I installed them. The larger piece came apart so the glue did not work so I nailed them to the wall. Very impressed! These shiplap panels are great quality, real wood. Super easy to install, but I will caution, make sure it’s where you want it because the adhesive strips are no joke. I was thinking I maybe needed to reinforce with nails, but when I ripped the coating off the Sheetrock, I figured it was fine. lol they look amazing and I like that they are thinner than traditional shiplap. I am very pleased with these wall panels. I was a little hesitant to purchase something so long, and thin enough to perhaps be damaged in shipping. But every piece was in perfect condition. I bought the alder, which was easy for me to cut with a Japanese style hand saw. Another reviewer mentioned the black charring on the sides, and yes that was a pain because it got all over my hands and on the wall as I was leaning the boards up to visualize. I washed it off as best as I could, then primed and painted. Seems as though the black edging would be a problem if I was just staining or keeping natural. Painting has worked for me though, as did construction adhesive with no nailing required. These wall panels have really jazzed up my entryway and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.. Karen. After many years the wood gets an unbelievable weathered texture that only Mother Nature can provide. The brown tones are one of a kind and cannot be found in any other wood. We carefully remove the boards from the growing beds, power wash each board, then Kiln dry them to kill any bugs and then begin the milling process. The planks are 1/2'' thick with lengths up to 48''. This unique wood is definitely a statement piece! Everyone will notice this gorgeous wood as soon as they walk into any room.

I purchased the color brown and it does look as pictured on the site. The variation in color is hard to discern from tile to tile, until it’s on the wall. Once up, you can see all the slight variation. Even though the color is brown, in my option it leans to a cool town brown. Champagne Bronze faucet finish looks good with it as well as nickel.
