Very easy to assemble. All parts fit together with ease and logic. Beautiful wood color. Very sturdy feeling. As noted by another reviewer, the base prevents it from sliding beneath a sofa (if that was an intention). I bought it knowing it wouldn’t slide under my sofa, but I now see that I could EASILY detach the base and it would slide under my sofa. I may do that in the future.
