I'm still waiting for my electrician to install these. I bought three of them to replace the ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms (other than the master). They were just what I was looking for...simple, modern design with a dimmable light. I'm sure the kids and our guests will appreciate them! Follow-up...fans are up and I have to say they don't look/feel very sturdy. The fan blades are a thin plastic. I was really unsure whether I even wanted to keep them after the first one was unboxed. But after my electrician put it up and we turned on the light and fan, my opinion changed. They can really move A LOT of air, like gale force winds (even pushed the door closed on the electrician as he was cranking it up!). And the dimmable light is great. Overall they look and perform better than they "feel". Only my electrician and I (and now you) know just how chintzy they are!!!!
