I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. Please note you have to buy the concealed wall box with this or it cant be installed. Mine arrived with a dent and as my contractor failed to tell me before installing it, I feel I have to keep it. Had he told me before installing it, which was rhr last thing he did as his job was done, I would have exchanged it as it's a great towel warmer and works well. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. I got this shower drain for my shower because I needed to replace the old one. It is very nice but it didnt fix my shower drain. So I contacted Wayfair and got a refund on it. I have used it for a few games and didn’t do as well as my 219.00 one which has a rubber looking tip and a hole to screw in an extender, there are complaints with the extender in due to there not being enough space needed for one of the ping-pong tables. It’s a bit cramped need for more space at ping-pong tables 1. My 219.00 one has a fiberglass narrow end toward the tip. I would have a better result if I just fatten the tip a bit. The build quality of this CUCKOO is incredibly solid. Three Stars because one of two failed to close tightly.! I bought TWO Radiator control valves: they arrived immediately, along with the cut-off valves & elbows I had ordered. Both Radiator valves were installed yesterday: One works perfectly (yeah, 5-stars), BUT the 2nd failed to close tightly and leaked (not dripped but leaked!) .. so I’ll have to replace it (0 stars). Fortunately, I can close the in-line Shut-off valve I had installed upstream, and accomplish Replacement without having to drain my Hot Water Radiator system. Crisis avoided!. Gary Knebel.
