I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. This kitchen faucet has a single lever handle with matching side spray. It has an adjustable width with ceramic disc cartridges, all-metal construction, and braided stainless steel supply lines.

This faucet looks nice would fit into many styles of kitchens due to its transitional design. It is definitely on the larger side, so be aware of the dimensions when ordering. The "flow" is excellent at 2.2 gallons per minute. The only thing I'm not wild about, is the rubber mechanism on the pull down handle(for switching from regular stream to "shower" stream)which takes a bit more effort than typically necessary to operate.
