This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. After receiving a replacement Edgestar beverage fridge, I am totally pleased with the quality of the unit. The second unit was delivered minus the lower portion of the shipping box, exposing the complete underside of the Edgestar fridge when tipped 45 degrees. The electrical was just hanging out to one side. Shipping company must have given the unit a rough transport....or was not packaged properly before shipment from warehouse. One adjusting height screw was missing and a quarter coin size dent on the right side panel in the middle. Removed the height adjustment screw from the fridge that was being returned that had major damage to top hinge that caused the door to be misaligned and hang low and not straight. Customer service Rep Monae G was excellent in resolving the problem and ordered a new replacement. Thank you very much.. Anonymous. Sun Feb 04 2024
