The couch itself is lovely. But when the men unwrapped it, it was absolutely filthy. There is not one panel that did not have some kind of stain or dirt. Worst part is, I think it’s grease in some areas because it rubbed on the wall and left a streak on the wall that only came out with magic eraser. All that being said. Absolutely beautiful well crafted couch. It took longer than expected for delivery but it was worth the wait. Couch is well made and wrapped in satin type fabric. Both the couch seat and small arm cushions are a downy feather blend. Couch back cushions are well stuffed with a poly foam blend. Seat cushions are a bit firm to reduce sagging. Really comfortable - the midnight bayou is a stunning navy color. The slipcovers are well fitted and look great. Updated after 6 weeks- the cushions compress a pretty significant amount leaving you sitting about 15 inches off the floor rather than the 18 in the description. It’s very comfortable - I thought to swap out the legs but unfortunately unlike other sofas of this price the legs are nailed in and not an easy swap. I’ve sat on countless sofas at furniture stores and immediately popped up with a “Nope!” So naturally I was nervous at 2k a pop, no cancels or returns and a front door that wasn’t quite 36” wide as needed per the delivery specs. They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did. I purchased this sofa, November 9, 2025. It is the same as it was when I first purchased it. It took my grandson an hour from unboxing to assembling it. It was so easy for him lol Make sure you prepare the slip covers before you take the plastic off the pillows, because they deflate very rapidly. That is a mistake I made, I was so anxious to see what it would look like put together. It is a beautiful couch and it has held up from the tiny hands and feet of my great grandkids. If you want a beautiful, strong sofa, you can’t go wrong by purchasing this one. The only regret I have is that I purchased the cream and not the white.
