They do come with adjusters on the bottom of the legs. Putting them together was simple, but have to admit having a 2nd person help hold in place, while adding screws made the job go faster. These are absolutely awesome chairs! They are very comfortable, cushions are thick and supportive, colors are as pictured. I personally like slighly tilted back rest, and these chairs have a perfect angle: you don't have to recline too much but neither you have to sit straight.
