The chair backs are a bit more upright than I had hoped, but they will be perfect for dining. If you are seeking chairs for reading / lounging, you might want something with a bit more slant or recline to the back. I also bought the 47" dining table (in Vintage Tekwood) to go with these chairs. The set was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but arrived on Friday. I am a very happy customer.
