This is my second time buying this gazebo. I get so many compliments when people come over! The last one ended up getting ruined by a wind storm but I had it for several years and everything was holding up perfectly. The canopy fabric color did not bleach out and the curtains were still perfect. There was zero rust on the frame itself even with our harsh winters. Now that it's installed, I'm VERY happy with the overall look and quality of the gazebo. It's attractive, sturdy and a nice addition to my back yard. I do feel obligated to give a mild warning to prospective buyers: - When the instructions say 2+ people are required at certain stages they mean it. DON'T do what I did (assembled the posts and beams upside down and flipped it over). Ripped bolt anchors, bent metal, lots of cursing. All fixable but not a good time. - The instructions only include pictures and there were more than a couple times I interpreted them incorrectly . I ended up having to remove and re-install parts after having that "ah-hah" moment . Not the end of the world but it adds time. - Nuts and bolts are made of soft metal. You WILL have lots of stripped bolts if you use a power drill ( a must if you want to speed things up) and are not super careful. Good news is Sojag provides lots of extra parts. But... - Having so many extra parts means you'll constantly second guess whether your missing something; especially since there are holes that don't need anything. This product has been a nightmare. Missing parts, mangled parts, the manufacturer has been slow to respond or hasn't responded at all. I will never buy anything from this manufacturer again ever! The photo attached is of only some of the many mangled, twisted parts. After contacting and not receiving the parts, I was able to go to an auto body shop that was able to straighten the parts out where they were workable,. This morning we were putting the roof together only to find that the parts which were sent were the wrong ones, they are much smaller and simply don't fit. We are now waiting for the correct roof parts to arrive with no guarantee that this time they will send the correct ones. This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed!
