Now that it's installed, I'm VERY happy with the overall look and quality of the gazebo. It's attractive, sturdy and a nice addition to my back yard. I do feel obligated to give a mild warning to prospective buyers: - When the instructions say 2+ people are required at certain stages they mean it. DON'T do what I did (assembled the posts and beams upside down and flipped it over). Ripped bolt anchors, bent metal, lots of cursing. All fixable but not a good time. - The instructions only include pictures and there were more than a couple times I interpreted them incorrectly . I ended up having to remove and re-install parts after having that "ah-hah" moment . Not the end of the world but it adds time. - Nuts and bolts are made of soft metal. You WILL have lots of stripped bolts if you use a power drill ( a must if you want to speed things up) and are not super careful. Good news is Sojag provides lots of extra parts. But... - Having so many extra parts means you'll constantly second guess whether your missing something; especially since there are holes that don't need anything. This is my second time buying this gazebo. I get so many compliments when people come over! The last one ended up getting ruined by a wind storm but I had it for several years and everything was holding up perfectly. The canopy fabric color did not bleach out and the curtains were still perfect. There was zero rust on the frame itself even with our harsh winters. The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together.
