I gave the mattresses about two days to fully expand and was surprised at how firm they are. Most "firm" mattresses are not very firm; however, I weigh just under 200lbs and I sunk in about a half-inch. It is a soft kind of firm, not a hard, cheap couch kind of firm. My wife laid on the top one and she was equally, pleasantly surprised. That says a lot, coming from her, as she has a bad hip and is very particular when it comes to mattresses. The folding camping cot looks like is made with quality materials and strong enough for heavy people. I love the convenience design to open and close it easily. I can’t say if it will be durable because it is new and I didn’t use it yet. The only negative thing is that the packaging was terrible, the box came broken.
