Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. Best decision I ever made. These look like an odd choice but they are absolutely gorgeous. My mom thought I was crazy for ordering samples of a few of some of the colors, but even she loved them when they came in. There was no other option once we saw them in person. It’s cheap to order a sample. Just do it! The colors are gorgeous!!!! I didn’t do a pattern like they have on some of their photos. The colors are so rich that they don’t need the added drama of a pattern. I got the dark red color and installed it in my still unfinished kitchen. I’ve attached a photo of that. But I also got the light blue and I love it even more! I’m installing that in my bathroom next week. I’ll post pictures of that too if I remember. I would do every room in my house a different color if I had the money to do it. Self install was super easy, I’d never done it before. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous!
