This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. Overalls this is a nice griddle. Well packed, but the lid did have a couple of very minor dents- not enough I’m worried about it. Assembly was what I expected. Took about an hour. Pretty solid frame overall. Lots of surface area to cook. I can’t imagine using the full surface. Seems as well made as other name brands. Only downside is burner setup *IF* you want to convert to natural gas. Side burner is connected to propane inlet, so no easy way to convert it. If you remove the side burner, you can connect a natural gas hose to the griddle burners and replace the three orifices. Overall very pleased.. Michael. TX. Sun May 24 2026
