I really like this framed woodwork/artwork combination. Two things to point out and give clarification on for a buyer are the color and the variation in the wood. The background color of this is a very dark charcoal/black/blue. In photos and on the listing it looks Navy blue but in person is it darker. Even in my own photos it looks more blue than it appears in person. It's not a problem and I still really like it but I think it's worth mentioning. If you look at customer images you can see that on the eagle there are knots in the wood. Each one is slightly different so you can expect yours to have those same variations. Finally, as others have stated, it's smaller than it looks in the listing images. I suggest measuring ahead of time so you can visualize it in your space accurately. Placed these on my mantel to fill up the huge amount of white space above. Took a long time to get used to something so large and dark but I'm very happy with the look now. My only complaint is that they are a little thick so they take up a lot of space on the mantel. If I wasn't very short and very lazy, I'd hang them instead of propping them up, but I do like to change out he art seasonally and like I said, I'm lazy.
