Overall we are happy with this little greenhouse. It took about 8 hours for my husband to put together. I helped here and there when I was able. We were able to build it fairly easily BUT we had a few parts that were not the correct size. We are waiting for the manufacturer to contact us regarding replacement of the 2 roof vents which were about 6inches too short. One of the corner frames was too short by about an inch as well. we were able to make this work by drilling a different hole but it was incredibly frustrating to deal with. I think we were unlucky enough to get a box that had been previously opened. Many of the parts were dented, though not beyond use, and it was not really obvious that they were until we started putting the poly panels into the frames. If the manufacturer makes this right, by replacing the vents, I would probably give it 4 stars. I am very excited to have it completed and it is quite sizable. My husband is 6ft1 and is able to walk around the majority of the space without ducking. I am 5ft4 and can stand at the shortest side without ducking. Update!! I just put it together over the weekend and I have not installed the door yet. My first impression was the wood was brittle and prone to cracking. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed!
