We are using this to hold a few bars for the functional trainer. The product works well for this use and is strong enough to hold the bars. There was a tolerance issues between two holes not lining up well so the assemble of two of the fasteners was a bet excessive. We did end up getting it to work out but it took two of us to aline it enough for the screw to go in and secure the parts. I thought it was fully foldable, but it isn’t the base is not foldable but it unassembles easily. The unit is solid and on a heavy side so while it folds it would be hard to do it daily.
