The color is a little darker than I thought it would be, but it is hard to tell in photos. The material seems fine cushions a little on the thin side, but acceptable for the price. The only reason I gave a four instead of a five is that the trays on the ends are very cheap feeling and flimsy. I do not expect that they will last long. This is a great swing. It was fairly easy to put together, although it's helpful to have 2 people for some of it. There is a small dent in the top bar, but not bad enough to send back.
