I basically just raked and leveled out the dirt and cleared the space of any rocks that might impede the installation. I was able to snap it together in about an hour. I love this trampoline! It was easy to put together overall and feels sturdy once assembled. The only issue I had was with the instructions—they could be a little clearer about which way the mat goes, especially for someone who’s never put a trampoline together before.
