Gotta admit, the light was better than we expected. The light combinations between actinic light (6500K) and yellow light (3000K) make this a mood synchronizer. Initially when turned on it was too dim, then we realized it was in the middle of it's intensity. The brightest intensity adequately lights up our kitchen. The fan we deemed weak, perhaps because our previous fixture was a light&fan combo that had bigger 3' diameter blades. Fan flow in our opinion is offset by the inconspicuousness of the fan as it is transparent, a nice feature. It has a remote you could loose and appears to hold it's last setting when turned on. This hot tub is great! I have had it for a few month now and have not had a single issue. It was easy to get set up and ready to go. The jets are strong if you want them to be but adjustable if you don’t. Size is great. I love the cup holders and ice bucket. Cover is thick and does a great job. I was a little nervous about ordering online. I did a lot of shopping and researching before I ordered this one but now wish I had ordered it sooner. We spend a lot of time in it. Nice hot tub. Takes a while to heat up and loses heat pretty quickly when you open the lid, but my kids love it. Unfortunately, we had to winterize it for the winter because my energy bill DOUBLED after we set it up. We live in Michigan so it uses a lot of energy during the colder climates. So if you're hot tub shopping just know that these plug and play ones seem really nice and cost effective, but they actually cost way more to run than a hard wired hot tub would.
