This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. Just what we needed to update our Innomax fluid support bed to an Adjust-a-rest air bed! We LOVE it! It works great for King sleepers who use the middle of the bed unlike the old air number mattresses. (I do strongly recommend purchasers refer to the Innomax set-up instruction video found online because no instructions come with the product. The product does take several hours to set up and you must have a compatible bed, but it apparently fits the standard softside with 4"x6" foam rails.) So convenient to be able to get this delivered to our door in Canada with no unexpected duty/brokerage charges instead of getting it ourselves from Innomax in Denver, Colorado. This hood sucks smoke better than any hood I've ever had. When it turns on the glass keeps the smoking from just rising to my ceiling. It's like a commercial hood. Anything I throw at it it handles.
