It's a good ping pong paddle for intermediate players. I used the Stiga Evolution for 8 years prior to buying this paddle. This paddle provides more speed and good control. I only played with it for a few hours, but the Evolution has more spin and more "feel" when hitting the ball. It all depends on your style of play and skill level, and preference. We bought this with not the highest of hopes, but man were we VERY pleasantly surprised! It took my husband and I about an hour to put together but once you get it up and going it works great!
