The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. I got this 14,000 BTU window AC for my workshop here in Florida, and honestly it’s been a lifesaver in the heat. One of the best things about it is how quiet it is in operation. For a commercial dehumidifier, the sound is very low. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far my window unit is running at 70° Eco and turns off when it reaches that temperature. I did buy an air purifier filter and received it yesterday so I’m reading the directions to see how to put it in. I like the efficiency and endless supply of hot water. Like other hot water products the only negative is waiting for the water line to clear of cold water to clear before getting hot water. This happens for any system unless a homeowner adds a recirculation pump with a timer etc. Those additions with the extra cost are to me not worth it.
