The LG dehumidifier works quite well. It's modern-looking, has a customizable humidity setting and a sensor that turns off the unit once the desired humidity level has been reached. It also senses when the bucket is full and when to clean the filter which is very easy to do. Bathroom remodel and just had to pick this free standing tub for a small space! It has one straight side to push against the wall and the 2 sides taper in to make it easy to clean the sides of the trunk and not behind it! Since it's flat against the wall ! And you don't need that free standing water faucet screwed to the floor collecting dust! With this new flat sided tub, you can mount your bath fixtures in the wall in the middle of the tube instead of one end. You see...by mounting fixture in the middle you can relax up against both ends and and not hit your head on the fixtures. Lol and you can also make it a 2 person tub??!! Oh my!!! Arrived two days ago. I paid to have it dropped directly onto my concrete pad. Got electrical hooked up yesterday, filled it up last night, got in it this morning. The good stuff: It looks good, should be very reliable given how simple it is, and was a great price. The not-so-good stuff: They sent me the wrong color, the ozonator was broken upon arrival, the drain connection is tucked back under the tub and has no shutoff valve, the jets control is just one button but still manages to be confusing. But, at the end of the day, I just want some hot water, with jets, and not have it die every six months. So, I'm mostly a happy customer. 1 Week Update: Just a heads-up, exactly where the cover lift arm attaches, there's a vertical strap in the way (see my photo). So, to screw-on the cover lift arm, I had to use 0.25" spacers at each screw location. Not the end of the world, but pretty annoying. 3 Month Update: It's been great, but three annoying things that have revealed themselves worth mentioning. (1) The filter lid cover floats away under any, any surge of water. (2) There is no shutoff valve on the drain port. It cost me only $15 to add one, but kind of silly. (3) Expect a lot of leaching from the metal components over the first several months. It discolors the water. I'm on my 4th refill now. Hopefully it's done with the leaching.. Joshua. Sisters, OR. Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The device works well as a dehumidifier, it's pulling what I need out of the air, we have not hooked it up to the washer drain just yet to test the auto emptying pump but plan to in the future. The disappointing aspect of this unit is it's supposed to be able to connect to WiFi and have app access for control and updates. I had it connected for the first 5 days but the app was saying my filter was dirty (it's not, the device was not lit up that it was dirty) and there was no way to reset that on the app and the manual reset for it on the device didn't work as the device wasn't showing it as dirty. The app was also not sending me notifications for when the bucket was full, though if I opened the app it would update to show full. This wasn't a big deal, I can check it but just kind of defeats the purpose. After 5 days the WiFi light kept beeping annoyingly and the app says "something is wrong". I have tried all the tips and tricks to reset it and readd to app but I'm having the same issue. I'm pretty tech savvy and I did have it working for 5 days before it just decided to not work. My house is not very large and signal is good in the area I have it, I have not managed to get it work yet but I didn't buy this unit for the WiFi option it was just a plus BUT if you sell something it should work as intended.. Poor quality, poor assembly instructions, shipped in shoddy packaging- impossible to return in “original packaging”.
