Contractors struggled to install. The door is heavy and looks fantastic. Our last door was thin, and any time you accidentally bumped it, it would shake. This door is thick and held in place well, so it doesn't budge when bumped. If I could give this shower door a zero star I would. AWFUL product. Was difficult to install. We have had this less than a year and they are already not closing properly, opening slightly on their own causing water to drip on the floor and the door comes off the track constantly. There is also no track on the bottom so the door shakes as its closed. Lack of track at the bottom also causes water to splash out. Overall it’s a nice door and I’m happy with it so far. The directions are very poor and not clear at all. The wall anchors that came with the door were to small after drilling through the tile and I had torun to the hardware store to get a bigger better anchors. Just installed this dreamline sliding shower door. We needed an option without a top rail because of the unusual structure of our bathroom. The bay window would not allow for a top rail install and the bathroom was too small for a pivot style door. This slider worked great. My only complaint is that the slider has a little too much play in the top glider and so rattles a bit. We plan to reduce the clearance with a thicker piece of rubber to eliminate that issue. We also have not been able to determine how to properly drain the inner channel. It seems to hold standing water after shower use. Could be user install error. Overall a great product.. Colette.
