Matte White

kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Very nice door. Hinges are set for a 90 degree close. The hinges mount to one shower wall. If your walls aren't square with your shower base then your door will close too hard or not enough. If your door closes too hard, you can open a hinge and take a spring out. There are two springs in each hinge. If your door doesn't close enough you can open the hinge, remove the shaft and file or grind it to change the closing angle. I had to do the latter because my shower wall was at an angle that was greater than 90 degrees to my shower floor. The shower door directions don't mention altering the hinges. It’s good stuff! Love the color and finish, and as mosaic tiles go, it’s a very easy install. Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. Adding more pics after I used a black sharpie on all the grout. Black grout is more like cement color. It made a huge difference to me. The other looked all washed out. I attached a couple pics of my backsplash to show the before and after of me professional sharpie touch-up. Backsplash is also from Wayfair. It will not be installed for a few weeks, so I can add that picture later. I bought this for a fireplace surround. I expected it to be a bit wider, but that was my issue. It clearly shows the size. Typical subway is a bit wider. I liked the bit of variation. I think it will look even better with the black grout I plan to use. The other is what I am planning for my backsplash. That will also be black grout and also from Wayfair. I do not know how they packed so much bubble wrap in the box. Not one tile arrived damaged. If it had, it would not have been for lack of trying. It is tile, so I can see how it could still get broken. I am happy it did not! I just placed my order for the remaining tiles. I had to order a box to really guage.
