I have two sizes of cutting boards 17x13 and 15x20 and they are on different sides of my kitchen counters and I do everything on them. It is much better than the plastic cutting board as you can see the plastic coming off the board as you cut your vegetables, meat or chicken on it. Pleased with the quality of this cutting board. The 1.5”, which is recommended for durability, is quite heavy, so be aware. I store it in an extra large drawer below my cooktop, under my frying pans.
