Super disappointed that this item is much shorter than expected. It is about 23 inches high, instead of 29 inches like it was supposed to be. I even called Wayfair before placing the order to make sure I would receive the 29-inch version of this. I thought it was odd that the 29-inch version was less expensive than the 23-inch version, but the Wayfair associate assured me that I was ordering the 29-inch version. The item arrived more than a week later than the originally promised time frame. Also, the finish is a bit lighter than what I expected. There are a few dark marks on the top of the furniture piece that are either from the stain or from sanding that wasn't finished quite right. Otherwise, it seems like a solid, well-made piece. This piece definitely took more time and problem-solving to build than expected, a little over three hours total. The finished product looks really nice, and the color is beautiful. I especially love having both extra storage and a hidden trash can cabinet, which makes the space feel much cleaner and more organized. The assembly process was a bit more involved than I anticipated and required some patience and careful attention to detail. A few areas needed some adjusting during setup, particularly around the cabinet doors, to get everything aligned and opening smoothly. Once everything was properly positioned though, the final result looked great and felt sturdy. One thing to keep in mind is that this is not a quick or beginner-level assembly, so taking your time during the build will definitely help.
