Super disappointed that this item is much shorter than expected. It is about 23 inches high, instead of 29 inches like it was supposed to be. I even called Wayfair before placing the order to make sure I would receive the 29-inch version of this. I thought it was odd that the 29-inch version was less expensive than the 23-inch version, but the Wayfair associate assured me that I was ordering the 29-inch version. The item arrived more than a week later than the originally promised time frame. Also, the finish is a bit lighter than what I expected. There are a few dark marks on the top of the furniture piece that are either from the stain or from sanding that wasn't finished quite right. Otherwise, it seems like a solid, well-made piece. Cut-outs carved into the board's short sides make it extremely easy to grip and flip to gain access to a virgin cutting surface.

Excellent quality wooden cutting board. It is 1” thick and nicely made. This should hold up extremely well in a home kitchen for general use. Will probably last for several generations.
