Super disappointed that this item is much shorter than expected. It is about 23 inches high, instead of 29 inches like it was supposed to be. I even called Wayfair before placing the order to make sure I would receive the 29-inch version of this. I thought it was odd that the 29-inch version was less expensive than the 23-inch version, but the Wayfair associate assured me that I was ordering the 29-inch version. The item arrived more than a week later than the originally promised time frame. Also, the finish is a bit lighter than what I expected. There are a few dark marks on the top of the furniture piece that are either from the stain or from sanding that wasn't finished quite right. Otherwise, it seems like a solid, well-made piece. This light looks really nice in our “mountain modern” house. The wood drum was a perfect match for our decor and was of good quality. For the price, though, I expected high quality electrical and metal components. The metal pieces going up from the drum weren’t sized quite correctly and are slightly bowed to align with the predrilled holes. The wiring was also twisted and kinked where it was threaded through the pole and chain and took a lot of work to straighten out, so I’m only giving it 4 stars instead of 5.. Christopher. Denver, CO.
