I really love this piece; it fits perfectly with my rustic French country kitchen theme. It’s quite large, which I anticipated when I purchased it, but the website photos do make it appear a bit smaller. So, it’s definitely worth paying close attention to the listed specs. The color is also much darker than what’s shown in the photos online. It worked out for me, but it might not be what you expect. The last photo I’ve uploaded gives a close-up of the actual color. I returned these, but they are nice looking in person (I ended up using metal brackets instead to support my countertop bar). I chose the walnut color ones, and they did not appear to be walnut colored. Also, VERY important to know, in very fine print, it says that they are not returnable - even though on the same page on the website, in large capital letters, that all orders from Wayfair can be returned within 30 days. Corner blocks are used with casing mouldings in the top corners around door frames or around the four corners of windows. It adds great architectural detail to your room and is ideal when you want to achieve a different look from metering. Use a corner block with Ornamental Mouldings casings.
