while I think the quality was about what you would expect for the price....I am somewhat concerned on how well it will hold up....the wood itself is a lightweight pine...and will have to be sealed with a wood preservative yearly....the milling of the wood and the pre-drilled holes were done very well and everything lined up during assembly. I originally bought a LeLand Loon tissue cover and then I wanted matching trash can. It is the same beauty, the same quality. Like the tissue cover it has 2 different pictures of loons. The color is in warm tones palette and medium brightness. Color pine wood match the color bamboo furniture that we have in our bathroom. The top of trash can has a 1.5 inch trim. A regular plastic bag for small trash can isn't wide enough to go around trim. So decide for yourself if you want to deal with it or not. I bought this trash can almost a year ago and during this time nothing bad like wooden cracks or problems with the seams did not happen.
