After studying the directions for an exorbitant amount of time, we finally figured out what we were doing, and the desk came together. Works well, but there is a learning curve. Very well built, easy to put together. Don’t know about the burnt grease taste that everyone raves about. I use a water pan under my meat to prevent grease from falling into the coals or onto the diffuser. Came out great.
