Love these! Wanted to jazz up my wall, a bit. It all started, when I decided I wanted to cover up the wallpaper seams that started looking more prominent. Went with the Walnut color, and they were beautiful out of the box, so I didnt want to paint or stain over them. Have a few left, so I might try and get a little more creative with some going in another direction. Havent gotten that far yet. This 9 piece natural wood wall art set is very high quality. The wood is solid, has some weight to it, and is a warm medium toned. They do give off a strong chemical smell perhaps from the wood stain. I let them air out for a few days but they still have some of the smell lingering which is why I deducted one star. Each individual piece has two wall hooks on the back to hang the pieces. They also came with screws and anchors but a few of mine were missing as the box was damaged. I am very pleased with these wall panels. I was a little hesitant to purchase something so long, and thin enough to perhaps be damaged in shipping. But every piece was in perfect condition. I bought the alder, which was easy for me to cut with a Japanese style hand saw. Another reviewer mentioned the black charring on the sides, and yes that was a pain because it got all over my hands and on the wall as I was leaning the boards up to visualize. I washed it off as best as I could, then primed and painted. Seems as though the black edging would be a problem if I was just staining or keeping natural. Painting has worked for me though, as did construction adhesive with no nailing required. These wall panels have really jazzed up my entryway and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.. Karen. Vintage Harvest Mushroom Wood Accent Wall Kit, Varying Length and Width, 16 Sq. Ft. No, there are no mushrooms in the wood.... anymore!  However, this Hemlock wood was used in garden beds to grow mushrooms for years. After many years the wood gets an unbelievable weathered texture that only Mother Nature can provide. The brown tones are one of a kind and cannot be found in any other wood. We carefully remove the boards from the growing beds, power wash each board, then Kiln dry them to kill any bugs and then begin the milling process. The planks are 1/2'' thick with lengths up to 48''. This unique wood is definitely a statement piece! Everyone will notice this gorgeous wood as soon as they walk into any room.

Arrived super fast. Exactly what we wanted and needed. Description was perfect and the piece has a lot of character just like Ambrosia Maple should. The grooves in it are not too deep, but deep enough to see. We will be ordering more for a big project. If you know this wood, this piece is exactly as ambrosia maple should be with the groove character! It is not a flat back, rather has the edging thinned out to be used for wall paneling if needed.
