So far so good. The installation was tough as the template supplied for the alignment of the screw holes on the back didn't really work. We had to modify the holes on the back. We are planning on placing a stainless steel panel to cover the hole left by our microwave. The little remote was a cute feature I didn't realize it came with, so that was a bonus.. Jessica. This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. I wasn’t sure about using a ductless product but as I have a sloped ceiling in my kitchen and didn’t want to have to figure a way to run ductwork out without ruining the look of my kitchen, this one made sense. Love it! Replaced an extremely loud Broan hood. Couldn’t wait for the kitchen remodel because the replaced hood was so loud. So glad we got this now and we’ll design the kitchen around this hood. I was unable to install 8” duct and have it reduced for now. Up to level 3 pretty much all you hear is the whooshing of air being vented outside.
