As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. I ordered the San Miguel Shutters and the shutter lol. I love the shutters. The Starless night color is a navy blue. It is hard to tell in the photos. I really want them to be darker . I didnt want black. The shutters complimented the style of our home in 2 ways. The ark of the entry and the design of the front door go with the shutters. I didnt want run of the mill from the big box stores. Everything I purchased from Wayfair is different from the run of the mill like our amazing Garage lights and entry light. I love Wayfair.
