My only drawback was the overall thickness was less substantial than I expected. That said, the appearance makes up for a lot. the pattern and color are beautiful, and it gives the room the exact look I was hoping for. If you're looking for a 2-3/4" center to center, you should just get these. There are so few styles available on the market, and these are well made. I bought the darkest option (which isn't represented in the pictures). It's a matte finish, and it calms the eye when you back up and take in the large view of the room. The darker ones I got give a little bit of a Mission or Shaker style feel. I've installed about 8 of the 28 so far. One point I want to mention is that if you're installing them vertically, their visual width changes depending on what angle you're looking at it from. If I'm looking at a pair of them, like for cabinets that open up from the center with a handle on each side, one of them will look narrower than the other one just from the perspective of your view. I.e., one of them might look skinny like a bar. If that won't bother your sensibilities, then I recommend these handles. You might need washers like I did -- I had a couple drawers that were slightly worn down and I needed to bump the thickness just a tiny bit to get them tight. Go for it because you can return them if they don't work out. P.S. if you get the packages with the ziplock closure, and you're not wearing your reading glasses. you might not see there's a tiny tear-off at the top.
